Whenever I need answers I go for Google , bing or yahoo and get it from there and recently when I was searching for some stuffs, I got frustrated for few reasons

1. The results which I got in top 15 or 50 places are found to be old websites which contains informations that are not updated. Due to age of the domain and seo factors I witnessed those sites in top search results but later I realised that it was a waste of time

2. The real updated informations were found in 15th to 35th place in search engines and I need to click the next button so heavly to get what I want.

3. Ok, I have an option in few search engines to view the top 100 places in a single page but a question arised in my mind that how many people still know that an option exist ?

On analysing these factors in depth I found more pitfalls which prompted me in undertaking an inhouse S16 research project  - A humanised search engine. So whats that ?

Aim :

1.This search engine should contains data both inside and outside (human fed) informations

2. Should minise the time for the user in clicking pages, reading unwanted informations, visiting irrelevant websites ( which also increases the download rate thus increasing the cost).

As a first step I decided to take up Coimbatore and decided to test how people react to crazy ideas like this and I launched www.coimbatore.me with the help of my team. This website contains nothing new, anyone can post a question related to the happenings of Coimbatore city and they will receive an email answer. This biggest advantage of this is that they will receive an accurate answer analysed by humans and the biggest disadvantage is that it will take time as it is an email.

But I strongly believe that there is much more left in this idea. I would be much thankful if anyone of you can comment on this idea and gimme more interesting insights on how to take this idea further.
